QUICK WAYS TO GET INVOLVED WITH WCSU

1) LIST-SERVE: E-mail us at WorkingClassStudentUnion@gmail.com with your E-MAIL address. Then, we will add you to our list-serve!

2) WEBSITE DESIGN: We would love if someone with a little web experience could help us maintain our site!

3) TABLING: Particularly at the beginning of the semester, we will have a lot of resource fairs and other events to table at. If you are interested in being part of WCSU, this is a great opportunity to help us out and spread the word about our organization, as well as learn more about WCSU yourself!

4) PUBLICITY STREET TEAM: We need a committed group of people to help us doing flyering, chalking, and other publicity stuff all over campus! If you are interested in designing flyers, we would love that, as well!

5) COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE: Love to write? Have an interest or background in journalism, communication arts, public relations, English, or just a gift with words? If so, we would love for you to be part of our Communication Committee that will be writing editorials, letters to the editor, and blogs on behalf of WCSU. Topics will include anything facing working class students, ranging from tuition increases to access to healthcare to UW administration to affordable childcare. The possibilities here are endless! This committee will help keep WCSU in the news, as well as get people talking about the issues we are working on!

6) RESEARCH TEAM: These individuals will help us find up-to-date statistics, articles, studies, graphs, etc. to support the work we are doing. This can be done by passing on relevant information you read for a class, hear in a lecture, or find in a book or newspaper.

Any way you are able to help, we greatly appreciate it! We know that most of our constituency is balancing work, academics, and personal responsibility, so we are grateful for any amount of time you can commit to WCSU! No matter how big or small your contribution is, we are so thankful for your commitment to the work we are doing!
